Summary | Time required: 20 hours | Budget: $500 (or $25/hr)
We are customizing and re-designing, then integrating this JobPress theme ([url removed, login to view]) with this DailyPress theme ([url removed, login to view]). Before the re-design, we want to transfer all of the data from our previous job board to JobPress. We want to transfer data such as account information (usernames, passwords, contact information, preferences, and settings), profiles, jobs and resumes.
We then want a signup page designed and appended to the JobPress theme.
We purchased both themes and installed them on our website. We will share details after awarding project. For your information, the JobPress theme will be used to host our job board and the DailyPress theme is used to host our blog. For example, the JobPress theme is hosted at [url removed, login to view] and the DailyPress theme is hosted at [url removed, login to view]
The following is a summary of the scope – upon being awarded the project you will receive additional, private details to describe each milestone.
Milestone #1: Customization | Time required: 8 hours | Payment upon completion: $200
• Require guests to sign up or login to JobPress to gain access to the JobPress theme – only members can access the job board. DailyPress should remain open to guests.
• Create a few new fields and inputs to be used when posting jobs and searching jobs.
• Enable the use of DailyPress widgets in the JobPress theme, and vice versa so that we can display content from either theme on the other theme.
• The header and footer menus in DailyPress should be manageable from the JobPress theme.
Milestone #2: Data entry | Time required: 1 hour | Payment upon completion: $25
• Transfer all of the data from our previous job board to JobPress. We want to transfer data such as account information (usernames, passwords, contact information, preferences, and settings), profiles, jobs and resumes.
Milestone #3: Re-Design | Time required: 4 hours | Payment upon completion: $100
• Re-design JobPress theme with new color scheme that matches our logo.
• The header should contain main navigation menu, search tool, and the buttons to select “Jobs” and “Resumes”.
• The new header and footer designed for the JobPress theme will be integrated with the DailyPress theme.
Milestone #4: Integration | Time required: 4 hours | Payment upon completion: $100
• The header and footer from the new JobPress design should be integrated into the DailyPress theme so that both headers and footers match.
• Users should be able to login to both themes using their JobPress account so that JobPress users can leave comments on the DailyPress theme.
Milestone #5: New Page Design | Time required: 3 hours | Payment upon completion: $75
• We want to force users to sign up in order to visit any JobPress page. Guests or new visitors should be sent to this new page. This layout should have the JobPress sign up form (with a button to select “Employer” or “Job Seeker”), space for a video from YouTube or Vimeo, and three RSS feeds.
• Two of the RSS feeds will be taken from the JobPress theme: Latest Jobs and Latest Resumes. The third RSS feed should be taken from the DailyPress theme: Latest Articles. Only the last 5 items should be displayed for each feed, but to give the impression that the feed is constantly updating, a new item should scroll down in the feed every 10 to 15 seconds. To accomplish this, the latest 20 items should be ready to scroll into each feed.
