Need someone to add taxes to our shopping cart. Currently only shipping charges are added. Do not need an admin GUI for the implementation, willing to simply modify the php files if the tax rates ever change. Need tax rates implemented for the 13 Canadian provinces. Shopping cart is completely functional, just need the taxes added to the checkout screens and added to the Total amount of purchase. If a user is not logged in, the checkout will simply show "Taxes .... TBD" and if the user is logged in the checkout will display the tax amount based on their shipping address. Hello, The taxes will be calculated based on state (not zip code)? So you'll have a config file with the tax for each state? On what pages should the tax be displayed? Checkout page, cart, or product page and category view also?
