ActiveX/DLL to save Windows Media Audio stream to local disk

I am currently working on a project? to time-shift an online Windows Media audio stream in the same way that a? TIVO/hard drive recorder works. ? My software will? capture a live audio stream from the web to the clients? local hard? drive. Whilst capture is taking place, the locally-stored stream will be immediately available for playback? in Windows Media Player and will be able to be paused,? rewound and fast-forwarded? during playback. For example, a stream which begins at 10pm and ends at 11pm could be captured to the users hard drive. The user begin listening from the beginning of the captured stream at 10.15pm and may wish to pause or rewind parts of the stream during playback. I require a small DLL or ActiveX control which I can utilise in my own VB or VB.net projects to capture an online? Windows Media Audio stream to the local hard disk. I must be able to programmatically specify the URL of the stream, and issue a command to start or stop capture. It will also be useful if the control is able to report other data such as the status of the connection, error messages etc. Windows Media Player will be used to play back the local stream. I must be able to pause, rewind or fast-forward the recorded stream and it is essential that this functionality is available whilst the stream is still being captured. The 'SDP Downloader' software at? <[login to view URL]>? has a lot of the functionality I am looking for - however this software is not available as a DLL or ActiveX, and the stream it? captures cannot be paused or rewound.
