I need a simple web application that will perform the following tasks:
Overall Description: The site will help users accomplish 3 tasks:
1. Select products from different sources and put them into groups.
2. Then the user can post them products in a group to Ebay with a specific markup.
3. The script will periodically scan the price from the source and update the prices in ebay.
Requirements
1. User management. The site must keep a list of username/password and some basic profile information. The profile information includes certain keys(strings) to be used. The site must handle basic authentication.
2. When a user logs in, the user can search for products and create groups based on the search results.
3. The list of products from the sources comes from an API with a different site. So the application must import the items into its own table.
4. The user can manage the group specifying the markup by a dollar amount or by a percentage for the entire group.
5. The user can then choose groups and post them in the target site (Ebay). The script will post the entire list of products to Ebay using Ebay API, and using the users api key.
6. The user will then periodically check the source list for price changes and update the posts. For example if any product in my group changes price, then the site will update the price using Ebay API.
7. The user can take down from Ebay an entire group.
8. The user can change the markup of a group and then the prices on Ebay will be updated.
I already have a skeleton of this application using Zend Framework and Doctrine2.0 so you can use this to build on top of this.
