Objective:
To provide an updated web portal for the School, the portal would not only be a marketing tool but also provide various functionalities to the faculty/students.
The site will provide:
• School information (Educational Programs. Schedules, policies, etc...)
• Student grade consultation and course registration tool
• Online class attendance sheet (for professors)
Implementation:
Each user either student or professor will have an individual login, depending on their login the person will have different access on the website.
They will 4 major categories of access on the website.
1. Student
2. Professor
3. School Admin
4. Website Admin
Student:
The student login will allow the student to access his/her grade history, class schedules and for certain course handouts and homework (In cases were professor uses the tool)
Professor:
The professor will be able to logon and see the course attributed to him for the upcoming semester. He/she will be able to add content to their course for students to download. Also the professor will have a possibility to report, grades and class attendance from the website.
School Admin:
The School Admin will be responsible for creating semesters,courses and schedules so that the other users can use and interact with the website.
Website Admin:
The website admin will be responsible for the site content and user management.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
