We require a project specification which will be used to post for bids for the actual development of the project. The project consists of taking acceleration data from a MEMS accelerometer into a chip that provides anti-aliasing filtering and A/D, from there fed to a Bluetooth wireless module and sent to a Bluetooth PDA (for storing the “raw data?? file). While some of the components have already been selected, there is flexibility in selecting the microprocessor that will control the device and the battery configuration. The functionality will include the following (with suggested modifications being accepted if accompanied with explanation for the modification): PDA>>Bluetooth out>> Bluetooth in>> [wake up, take reading] >>KIONIX(accel)>>Quickfilter(filter & A/D)>>BlueRadio(Bluetooth module)>>Bluetooth out>>Bluetooth in>>PDA
## Deliverables
Requirements include: Providing a clear outline of how the particular functions are to be programmed on the micro, and a justification for the selected design. Selection criteria for the creation of a BOM and Netlist. Confirmation of filter selection criteria for anti-alias and band pass filters. Determination of the most effective and flexible configuration of the Quickfilter’s analog and digital filter configuration options for the filters. Estimation of total power requirements for 2+ hours of operation and suggestion for battery configuration. Answering questions in accompanying Word document and addressing additional issues believed to be relevant and proposed by the “coding?? party. All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
