Building an Activity Dashboard for Amazon Mechanical Turk

I want to build an activity dashboard for Amazon Mechanical Turk.

This will be a website where someone could enter, and see statistical summaries of the activity that is going on on Amazon Mechanical Turk. Things like "# HITS available" over time, distribution of $ paid for each HIT, number of requesters, history of requesters, how fast HITS are being completed, and so on.

## Deliverables

From what I understand, to obtain the data, the application needs to crawl periodically the Mechanical Turk site. I have the impression that the Mechanical Turk API does not support requests from the workers point of view, but I may be incorrect.

So, the crawler will visit the Mechanical Turk site periodically, and collect as much information about the available tasks as possible. The information will be stored in a database, and the dashboard will allow people to explore the available statistics (and see the statistics over time).

We will nail down the exact functionality during the specification discussion.
