Please let we introduce ourself first, We are a group of the oversea student who are studying in IT at TAFE. On this semester We have to submit one project about eCommerce work. So We choose to make our project as "Third Party - Drop shipper for eCommerce web site / online store "
Our work flow is start from online store website send [login to view URL] Then We had already coding the web application program for export the order to our order database - which create by PHP and Mysql . We currently don't know how to connect to Australian Post eParcel module, We must to dispatch all of the order for creating CSV file for create ePacel label then export that CSV file out and manually import to eParcel website for printing out the label for each parcel . also, the harder work for us is have to export consignment note and then manually match up the consignment and customer order
We would like to make this system more efficient as we think the work flow should be
1. get the order file
2. import that order to database
3. generate the picking slip with barcode
4. after finished picking for each picking slip come back to packing station
5. scan the barcode for each picking slip / then the system will create the label for each parcel one by one ( we will set up with Thermal printer)
[login to view URL], after create the label , system must update the consignment note for each order that had been dispatched out too
7. then repeat all process again until finished all of order
Please give us an advise and we would be very very appreciate with your kindly help , We will put all the credit on our project for Opencart
