Provide proof-of-concept, working examples of client-side javascripts and any required server-side php scripts to acquiring geolocation (lat, long. timestamp, etc) data from a mobile device and sending it from client-side to server-side to be manipulated by php scripts and/or stored in a MySQL database. Data must be acquired asynchronously (AJAX) when the mobile page loads without requiring additional input from user (other than approval for using position data). Error handling must be addressed. Required mobile platforms: iOS 3.2-5.0, Android 2.1-2.3, Blackberry 6.0, Windows Phone 7-7.5
All work will be done in a sandbox that we will provide to the developer to be access [login to view URL] will be provided with a sample mobile webpage, a MySQL database and jquery javascript library.
Success will be measured by our ability to visit the mobile URL with a mobile device and have the geolocation data sent to a server-side php scrip[tasynchronously (once the user approves use of position data). The mobile URL should not be required torefresh. On the server-side, we should see geolocation data placed in the mysql database if we approve the use of the position data, otherwise we should see proper error indicators stored in the Database.
I can provide you the 'proof of concept' of gps tracking through a mobile web page for IOS.
The concept would utilise AJAX for updating the server, and would also display the information relayed and processed by the server to prove the concept.
Hi fbrechbiel,
I have thoroughly analyzed your project details and I am very much confident about this. I have already worked on similar kind of projects and made a demo specially for you in my server. Please read the private message board for the demo details.
