Chat / Dating Community Website

Please note: this project is listed under various categories and price ranges due to its size. If you are only able to complete part of this listing, please let me know. A client requires a community type website. The main part of the site would be chat and dating. There would be two sites, one site would be non gay chat & dating, the second site would be gay chat and dating. In addition to the two sites, there would be sub sites for auctions, forums etc. This will be through different domains. However, as there is likely to be many users (due to my clients lucky ability to own good unique domains) then the load for the site would be through different domains on different servers, using a central user database, therefore spreading load on servers. Whilst you would be able to use the same scripts for both of these sites (with minor alterations) you would need to also create the flash type headers and menus for both sites. The visual design of the main site would be a floating / static header at the top and left side of each page, this would include logo and text / graphics. This should match the left hand side of the page, where there would be a dynamic menu. Both header and menu should at all times appear on each page. The user should be able to register at the site and also log on to site. There should be a facility for lost password retrieval. Upon registering at the site, the user would be automatically registered with other sites operated by my client. The other site you would need to create are as below, however, the header from the main site as well as the menu would still need to be displayed at the top and left section of the site. This would need to be exactly the same file source so it is quickly loading and also to give the overall appearance that the sites are all streamlined. BLOGGING - Users should be able to create their own blogs through [login to view URL] They would automatically be registered at the blog site. FORUMS - Users should be able to read, post and create their own forums through [login to view URL] They would automatically be registered at the forum site. AUCTIONS - Users should be able to use an auction facility. They would automatically be registered at the auction site, [login to view URL] (However would only be able to post auctions if they are a registered paid member) CLASSIFIEDS / ADVERTS - Users should be able to browse and also post classified adverts, for example, property rental, jobs, etc. They would automatically be registered at this site, [login to view URL] BUSINESS SEARCH - Users should have the ability to browse / search for businesses by type and location. They should also have the ability to post details of their business. Users would automatically be registered at this site, [login to view URL] All the sites - blogging, forums, auctions, classifieds, business, although you would need to create these sites and design simple graphics, they would all need to use the same database for login. There are no requirements for admin areas on these sites, though please view admin requirements at the end of this listing. The chat and dating, both for non gay and gay, the requirements are: Users should have the ability to design their own profile as detailed above. This profile name should also be used to enter the chat rooms. Users should be able to click onto this name and a new browser window would appear with the profile. Chat rooms should be flash. Users should be limited to a number of chat rooms they can enter at any one time. Users should have the ability to search other profiles either using keywords or from using a form list. Users should have the ability to use private chat with other users. Users should have the ability to "rate" other users. Users should also have the ability to view others who have viewed their profile and also to see if they have been "rated" Users should have the ability to have a "friends" list, to see who is online. There should be a facility to send a private message to users within the "friends" list. Users should have the ability to include their own “poll” within their profile. Users should have the ability to ignore and block anyone. For any of the options, this can be included as links within the users profile. The admin area for both of the chat / dating sites would inculde the following: Profiles should be approved by admin before being activated. People would be limited to the number of profiles viewed within a time period. Users should have the ability to search for any keywords with the results being displayed from the domains operated by my client. For users who would pay the sites fee, then they are able to view unlimited profiles. Also, they would be able to post their own adverts, classifieds, business search etc within the sub sites as detailed above. This can be acchieved from the central database or maybe any other idea / system you would use for this. The main site admin account would be used to select what level of membership the member has (paid or not etc) In addition to this, the main admin account would be used to select what adverts are displayed within chat rooms, profiles, forums etc. Secondary admin accounts would be used only for the purpose of placing a block on a members account. There would be two types of block: The first type is to prevent the user from accessing the site for a period of 60 minutes. The second type would be to completely block the member so that he / she is booted off the site and does not have the ability to use either chat rooms or messages. Also access would be blocked to other sites operated by my client. As this site is a charity based website, the profits would be given to various charities. In order for users to determine which charity, there would need to be a poll in order for users to choose their choice of charity. Please note, my client requires this project completed by October 2006, therefore there is no immediate rush. However, as this project is too large for me to complete by myself, I have already wasted over two months on other freelance sites trying to find someone. To avoid any further time wasting, when replying to this post, if you have read and understood all aspects, then please include a private message to me stating what languages you speak as this will confirm that you have infact read this entire message. This is for the process of eliminating people who have bidded on this project without reading the requirements. (Do not require a translation service as able to do this part myself) If you are not able to complete this entire project and are only able to complete part of this, then if you would like to inform me what parts you are able to complete with your price and any ideas you may have please let me know. If necessary, I will create post a new project on site for you. Please note that payment will only be given once your work is completed to the requirements. Payment would be through this sites escrow service. The only other requirement my client has is that the site should be of an unique simple design. My own requirements is that the sites and subsites should be streamlined, as if to blend with each other.
