I need a basic android application that consists of a menu system with buttons, localization for different languages, basic Activity support to utilize the back button and pause/resume, and launching/restoring a basic opengl window. ? The code you produce should run on Android 1.6 and greater to support devices such as the MyTouch.
This is the basic application for now. ? Future projects relating to this one will follow so there is the possibility for more work later.
## Deliverables
I need a basic android application that consists of a menu system with buttons, localization for different languages, basic Activity support to utilize the back button and pause/resume, and launching/restoring a basic opengl window. ? The code you produce should run on Android 1.6 and greater to support devices such as the MyTouch.
Attached are pictures showing roughly how I want the menus to look. ? The base images for the background and buttons are included. ? The purple/blue highlight around the buttons on the right is a separate image as is similarly colored part that connects the buttons on the left to the "frame" on the right. ?
As you select a button on the left, the buttons on the right change. ? The connector between the buttons on the left, and the image on the right attaches to the last selected button as shown in the pictures. ? This means when they select New Game, the connector and frame move to new game and show the new buttons on the right as per the picture. ? Please see the attached pictures for references regarding the names of all the buttons and examples. ?
When you select Singeplayer, then the New Game button that appears on the right, it brings up a new window as shown in the NewGame.jpg. ? Clicking on the left arrow for level should decrease the # shown, clicking right should increase it. ? Clicking left/right on the difficulty arrows should have it cycle between easy/medium/hard. ? When begin is clicked it should launch the basic Opengl view as described below.?
The attached archive contains code from the Android Example library that uses opengl on android to render a basic cube. ? You can use/modify this code as it will be removed later and is just providing an example/placeholder. ? This cube is what the the application should display when Begin is clicked under the NewGame screen. ? The application should be able to pause/load and still render the cube. ? This means when the application is running, the user clicks the home button forcing the application to the background, then the user clicks on the application icon it should take them back to where they were in the menu and/or with the cube displayed.
When you select Stats under single player it should pull up a scrollable window that displays the following:
Game 1: winner
Game 2: winner
....
....
....
Game 30: winner
Where it should display Game X: winner for all games from 1 to 30. ? Using the touch screen it should be able to scroll from top to bottom with a drag of the finger. ? Remember all this text should support localization.
This is the basic application for now. ? Future projects relating to this one will follow so there is the possibility for more work later.
