Developing and implementing an e-commerce system to facilitate for a charity organisation

The E-Commerce system \\\'Children in Deen\\\' is a newly establishment organization that is a registered UK based charity. It specializes in improving the lives of children and the needy that are deprived from resources and aid in third world countries. The charity is a non-profitable organization and is working with other charities to combine a unique 100% donation line within third world countries. \r\nThey have decided to implement a project, to renew their e-commerce system and to have an improved and successful website, so that it can allow users to interact and get concerned with the organization. This system will help the charity to advertise the company, and to have links to the database to illustrate why and how this charity is going to implement their long time goal. The users will have a user friendly system that will allow them to make payments via electronically threw the website. \r\n\r\nThe aim of the project is to design and develop a complete working E-commerce system for a charity organization, and then to implement a database system which will allow to store data from donators who have donated. Objectives are too contrast the process of the tasks and then carry out the objectives. Decide and employ methodology for the system. Investigate a number of literature reports and to review them. Design the E-commerce system and database. Evaluate the findings and then explain the conclusion.\r\n\r\nThe planned product will appear like an E-commerce system that will have a database application within a website. This website system will be an active system, which will allow users to edit information about them and to store and record donations that they have contributed to the organization. The users that will be donating will have access to the information that will be given on the website from the assessors.\r\n\r\nThe data that the website will require from the users such as, names, addresses and emails etc, will be used for future references so that the assessors can email the donators later on to ask for more donations or to get involved with activates that the charity organizes. So with the data that will be stored in the data system, can help recognize who would be capable of donating again so that they can value their customers. The database system will be a secure application as it will hold private information of customers via using a verification process to guarantee that all information is correct and confirmed. \r\n\r\nThe resources that can be required for this project can have a big effect as this is a website with a database. But to develop this system you first need a PC a laptop or a MAC computer, so that the implementation can be done. To design the website they can be much unique software that can be required. But to do this project visual studio 2008 can be sufficient as it has the right tools to develop the system. The software to create the database application can be Oracle Application Express as it has the latest and easy way to develop a web application. \r\n\r\nAnd to gain access to resources for the literature review there is a system that can be accessed from the digital library to gain to many journal, books and articles.
