Data retrieval & display

Need transportable module to retrieve select daily streamflow data for selection of Montana rivers and display data in websites I create. See [login to view URL] "streamflow" sidebar for example. Using following URL format, I can choose streamflow data from select rivers on specific dates: [login to view URL] &site_no=06043500 *Specific site on individual river (Need to be able to input select various river codes) &cb_00060=on *Specific code for streamflow &begin_date=2009-01-16 *Begin date &end_date=2009-01-16 *End date (always the same as begin date for daily data) &format=rdb NOTE: above URL sent as single line without notes. I'm assuming [login to view URL] uses the USGS waterdata system for data. Desired 'module' would allow me to enter various river/site codes, always using streamflow code, then retrieve data for variety of rivers on a daily basis and display results in webpage. Local programmer has set up a method using a cron job on host server that collects above data via cURL exec within PHP script which then fwrites data to CSS-styled UL/LI layout 'included' in php webpage. Works OK, but there may be a more compact way. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
