Bluetooth Media Player for Symbian Series 60

The project consists in an application for Symbian Series 60 streaming audio (MP3) over the Bluetooth link: In particular, these are the requirements for the application: User Interface - UI allowing the user to browse MP3 files on the local device and create a playlist - UI that allows to select the target Bluetooth device where the audio stream will be sent to - UI to allow common operations such as connect, disconnect, play, stop, pause, backward, forward Core Features - managing the audio streaming synchronization: this means understanding the bitrate of the MP3 file and mantaining the constant appropriate bitrate to stream the MP3 file without ovverruns or underrun over Bluetooth. The protocol / profile for audio streaming will be A2DP / GAVDP / AVDTP. Libraries for these protocols and profiles will be provided by us together with the API reference. - managing the interaction between the streaming application and Headset/Handsfree profiles. This means that when a phone call arrives, or a phone call is initiated by the user, the application must suspend the streaming of the audio and resume once the phone call is hang up. - the application functions such as forward, backward, play , pause should be controllable by the remote device using AVRCP / AVCTP protocol. AVRCP & AVCTP libraries will be provided together with API reference ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
