Data harvesting

At [login to view URL] we need to collect data about 5,000 pet care providers. We already have the records in our database (phone, address) but we need the following: 1. If they provide dog/cat boarding/daycare 2. Minimum price for each service type (i.e. dog boarding) 3. VALID Email address (ask for permission from the business you are soliciting) 4. Website address if any 5. Telephone and Fax numbers (validate and correct) 6. Business size (if family owned, or animal hospital, etc) 7. 1 Picture with the facility (128x96 px), external as JPEG coded for the recordID (ie. [login to view URL]). If they do not have digital pictures you can instruct vendors to mail them to us, mentioning their unique ID so we can cross-reference the pictures. We will scan and process them free of charge. 8. Short business description 200 chars or so. All collected data becomes the property of [login to view URL] Inc and will not be returned. Any copyrights must be assumed. You can call in the providers and collect the data from them. We need a CSV export file with the data and pictures as separate jpeg files. Please quote the price for all 5,000 records. We will pay all or nothing. We will sample records to validate the accuracy of the data. If we find more than 3.00% of the records containing harvesting mistakes we will not pay. We will provide the CSV file. Records MUST be cross matched based on a unique ID we provide with the original file. We also have about 1,500 emails on file which you can use to communicate with some of the vendors. You can use these but NOT mentioning our business name or website. ADDED: The vendors are ALL located in the USA. We target the US market. We can pay in chunks as data is being delivered, such as 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%. Please do NOT ask for payment in advance, we must validate the data and after that make the payment. ## Deliverables 1) Complete records in CSV format including at minimum for each record, items: 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 and 8. Up to 15KB high quality Jpeg Pictures in format 128x96 coded to identify the unique VendorID they belong to. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). 4) All collected data becomes the property of [login to view URL] Inc and will not be returned. Any copyrights must be assumed by the bidder. MORE CLARIFICATIONS: 1. You can NOT automate the process. We have already done that. Thes evendors barely show on the Internet. 2. You can NOT extract pictures from the internet or vendor websites unless they agree and provide them to you. You can design a standard email when soliciting this to the vendors but they must understand the materials become our property. 3. We must have business descriptions and PRICES for each record. You may have to call in these vendors (use [[login to view URL]][1] to have unlimited long distance for $25/month). We target to have at least 25% of these with pictures, although we may agree upon a project bonus if 50% have pictures or 75% have pictures. 4. The final price will take into account how many valid records are delivered out of those 5,000. If you quote for example $100 for these 5,000 records, the final price will be reduced based on how many valid records are delivered. 5. These 5,000 vendors have BEEN already validated against [login to view URL] so phones should be correct. 6. Email addresses have largely been validated (over 1000 are valid out of 1500). The rest have not yet been validated. To see sample data go to [[login to view URL]][2] and search for any US zipcode. You will see the "call now" ones for which we need prices, emails, etc. The "Check avail" ones have emails so we need you to validate that. We target to have these 5000 records showing like in this: search for 1 dog boarding in zip 64064 and see the first two results. Those are full vendors. You have the permission to solicit these vendors like: We are creating an online directory and we need you to send in some data including pictures, blah, blah. They have to agree to do that and waive any copyrights. ## Platform any
