Call+SMS Bluetooth daemon for Symbian and Windows Mobile

**This is a SERIOUS bid request that requires experience, adherence to a timeline and good communication skills. Please DO NOT BID if you are planning on learning-as-you-go or if you cannot make this project a priority.** [BluePhoneElite][1] is a popular Mac OS X application that lets you use a Bluetooth enabled phone to dial and answer calls as well as read, write, and send SMS messages. Unfortunately the developers of many "smart phones" did not take the time to implement access to many of these functions over Bluetooth. I need a developer to write an executable (BluePhoneEXT) to run on these phones as a background daemon and implement remote call and SMS functionality on a new Bluetooth channel. **A complete implementation description of the commands required is available for download [here][2].** Deliverables may be made available to the public by *reelintelligence* for testing purposes. All bug reports that are found to be caused by BluePhoneEXT will be forwarded to the BluePhoneEXT developer. All outstanding bugs must be resolved before final payment will be made. ## Deliverables **Developer Requirements** * Experience with Bluetooth and SMS. * Access to a Mac running OS X. * Access to at least one phone of each OS version listed above. **Timeline Requirements** * **Weekly status reports are a requirement.** * Development should begin on Symbian Series 60 and then port to the other platforms. * An executable that opens a Bluetooth channel and has a basic AT Command interpreter must be available within the **first two weeks** of development. (The interpreter doesn't need to respond with more than OK at this point.) * Updated builds must be made available every two weeks. * **ALL** commands of **ALL** OS versions must be functional after the **first 3 months** to allow for testing the **last 2 months**. **Deliverable Requirements** * Easily installable package containing the complete and fully-functional installer and daemon (different installer packages may be required for different target platforms). * Complete source code, graphics and all other resources for of all work done. * All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
