CLR-callable wrapper around C/C++ library

Lizardtech provides an SDK for reading MrSid image files. The binaries are provided in C++ LIB, DLL, and H files. I would like a mechanism to easily use the library from .NET code, probably in the form of a COM wrapper but open to other ideas. The API is very well documented. I don't need the entire thing; for starters just the subset that they call "The C API" is necessary. I'd like to attach the .H file that outlines everything that needs to be done, but LizardTech's license is a bugger there. To save you time, once you have agreed to their license drop me a note and I will send you the .H files. If you do download it, I'm looking at the two \include\c_api header files. Also include a simple sample .NET app in either C# or VB.NET that implements [login to view URL] and also the demonstrates the integration of the API streams with .NET streams (so I can stream conversion results directly to the network rather than through a file first). I think this will be an easy project (and easy money) for someone very familiar with writing wrappers around C++ lib and dll. I think I could do it myself but it would take me a lot longer to figure out the plumbing and the type conversions. I've written enough basic C++, but never compiled into a COM object.
