I have a VC++ DLL with a few functions. One of the functions is called "DownloadFiles" and can be called from a Visual Basic program as: DownloadFiles([login to view URL], intTimeOut, intConnections, [login to view URL], [login to view URL]) I would like a programmer to add one more input to this function for the start line so that the function will be like so: DownloadFiles([login to view URL], intTimeOut, intConnections, [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL]) This is the line number that the DLL starts reading from. Instead of starting at [login to view URL], it will start at the line number. So if the line number is 150, then the DLL will start saving files as [login to view URL], [login to view URL], etc... The second part of the project is to get rid of a bug in the DLL. I dont know what causes it but the bug only exists on some computers. The bug is that it will not finish downloading from [login to view URL] in the .zip file. It should download fine from working.txt. Basically, I think the best thing to do is to see if the thread is running too long, and if so, then go on to the next URL one. The third part you must do is be sure not to make more bugs!!!!!!! That is the main reason why I am posting this project. Im looking for a good program to finish this project and make it ready for distribution by having no bugs! I have fully tested this DLL and there is only one bug, which is the one mentioned above. If you see something that is not broken, then dont fix it, otherwise you might make the DLL worse. I will not pay until the DLL has that extra parameter for the DownloadFiles function and until is has no bugs. Let me know if you have any questions.
