asp (ultrdev) small project

Hi there coders: I have a small mess, I currently have a ms access 2000 db, a search file, and the results page. I've gotten most of it to work in ultradev but its being a royal pain. I know this is a quick and easy project for someone. Heres what i need it to do.. accept a phone number from a user check the database return if the numbe is in the db if not display message Thats it for now.. Will need additions later.. P.s I would lilke it done in ultradev simply because im attempting to learn asp and i want to know where i goofed up at. Thanks for bidding..
