Convert 2 Microsoft Access 2007 Forms linked to SQL server 2008 database to .Net web forms.
The Form includes a complex VB procedure that needs to be? converted? from VB. (I understand in SqL Server 2008 that this does not need to be in TSQL).

All, after answering questions it became apparent I was unprepared and need to be clearer about what we were trying to achieve. I intend to extend bidding for 10 days and will upload the actual database for review and detailed requirements by end of this week Thank you for your patience Finlay

Sorry for the delay. I will be posting a revised document including the access 2007 database later this week. The project has changed from conversion of an Access application to re-developing the forms as State-of-the-art web application. Please ignore the previous document. As a new buyer I am not sure if it is better to cancel this request and re-load as a new project. Please feel free to indicate your preference. This is the first (Proof of Concept) of over 60 forms in the Access application that will be re-written over the next 12-24 months. We are looking to develop a State-Of-The Art user interface for our system and expect that coders will have experience developing enterprise level applications. Please look at this Silverlight example for inspiration: [login to view URL] Thi forms selected to be re-written are simpler than the ones originally posted. Once this project is released and tested by our users we will then release the next stage which will build on the first. Here are some details. Please do not quote until you see the document but you can indicate if you would like to continue to bid: (1) Convert tables from Access to SQL server 2008 including relationships. (2) Develop stored procedures (3) Develop data access layer (4) Develop web pages using Silverlight (may recommend third party controls) (5) Assist us configure on our server. The actual work has simplified as the right click menus are dropped. It will be a data entry form launched from an access application. The only complexity is 3 sub forms plus one popup data entry form. Best regards, Finlay
