Hi, I have a software that is having issues logging in. I have the source code of the software. First, pls go through the attached file to see what the software was designed to do. That was the original description before the start of the software. Once you understand what the software was set up to do, I will then send you the source code for you to install it on your computer to see how the software works. If then you are convinced that you can debug the software logging issue and then upgrade it, I will send you the source code. Please note that by upgrade, I mean that there are some features that are (or are not) in the software which have not been tested to see if there are working. It was these issues/upgrades that were being carried out before the software stopped logging in. Some of the upgrades are; * Offline log-in capability * Time sychronization * Backup & Restore of the database * License issues etc. There are two attached documents. Read the text file first and then read the MS Word file which is like a summary of how the software is meant to work. So in my view over 75% of the features stated in these documents have been achieve but if there is any left, you need to get them done. I need this project completed within 5 days. Note that I may ask for some added work as you work if need arises. NOTE: THE FINAL DELIVERABLES/SOFTWARE MUST WORK AS DESCRIBED IN THE ATTACHED DOCUMENTS. SO STUDY THEM WELL! Thanks. Chinedu

Hi Sir, I read the document attached carefully. If you pick me I will need check the application running so that we can put suitable plan to deliver the project in 5 days you mentioned them. Also in the document there are more than one phase described. do you need only first phase to be finished in those 5 days or the whole project? I am working as team leader now in big software house I have great experience in enterprise applications I can deliver this project in time but I need to check it what already done to put action plan to finish it in time and with very great quality as you mentioned it is software for bank so it should be done professionally. Hi. I've actually developed software with this exact same concept. It was a Integrated POS system for a well known wholesaler. Essentially each till kept it's transactions locally (in your case, the Teller) it was connected to a store server and the store server was connected to the Head Office server. At the end of the day, the tills would send the transactions to the store servers and the store servers would compile the, and send them to head office. The tills did, ofcourse keep the backup of transactions locally as well. And the POS ran offline or online, so if the store server went down, the POS would switch to offline mode and as soon as the store server came back up, it will push all qued transactions into the store server. The major difference here is that you want to send the transactions directly from teller to head office. Which is just one step less really. Developer for a global retail enterprise, I have been developing software for almost a decade. I have been architecting n-tier, scalable applications for numerous corporates over the years. This project is exactly what my skill set is for.
