This is a quick and easy project for MySql savvy coders who know what they are doing. I have a database of play information for a game I am building. I need query to pull data from that database. DB Description: The db is a version of Fox and supports mysql queries. We have a user table showing accumulated play stats (level, exp, total number of attacks, etc). We also have a session table showing stats for each session (session start time, end time, exp gained, monsters killed, etc). The session table does not have the player’s level for the session and is why the query becomes complex. The user_id from the user table is also used in the session table to match which sessions belong to which user. Database Tables: User Table Columns user_id, level, goldTotal, totalTime, totalAttack, totalCrit, totalSpell, totalExp, totalBought, totalSold, totalTimesLoggedIn, dateStart Session Table Columns session_id, user_id, sessionTime, startTime, endTime, sessionGold, sessionAttacks, sessionCrits, sessionSpell, ssessionExp, sessionBought, sessionSold Results I would like: I would like a mysql query I can enter into the query window to show the following results: Accumulation/sum of each column of the “session table?? for the first X many sessions per “user_id?? at currently at a specific “level??(defined in the user table) Where the sum of the sessionExp of these first X sessions is less than 60(or another number I specify). When I say “first X sessions??, I don’t know how many sessions each player plays before they hit a cumulative experience level of 60. Part of this query is to figure out that number of sessions (I’d like to derive it rather than hard code it). The form of the deliverable: The deliverable will be a complex MySql query (multiple parts ok) I can type into a manual query window.
