Accounting website supplemental iPhone app This iPhone app is to supplement a website that is a full accounting system. The iPhone app would connect to the system through a variety of API calls and authentication. No data would be stored on the local iPhone. Please see attached mockup screens. Specs Built using jqtouch/phonegap Built on open standards (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript) All data is stored on a MySQL database, accessed through a simple API Invoice and estimate sending is done through an API call Multi-tasking compatible (user can exit app without logging out) App Screens Welcome/Login Screen - simple email/password login fields - link to access the web site - link to reset/forgot password (clicking the forgot password button would take the user to the Safari web browser) Main Page (see mockup) - graph shows total expenses and total sales by month or quarter (this data is retrieved using the API but would be built and displayed using the mobile technologies) - log out button Expenses Page - page listing your expenses in descending order by date - button to edit and delete the expense - the delete button asks for confirmation first (pop-up) Create/Edit Expense (see mockup) - user can create an expense or edit an existing expense - user can input up to 10 line items per expense - tax amounts are calculated Invoices page - list of all invoices with edit/delete button Estimates page - list of all estimates with edit/delete button Create Invoice page (see mockup) - user can create or edit an invoice - up to 15 line items - tax can be added and is calculated automatically - user can save invoice, through the API the invoice is sent Create Estimate page (see mockup) - user can create or edit an estimate - up to 15 line items - tax can be added and is calculated automatically - user can save estimate, through the API the estimate is sent More Screen a few simple reports are available (liquidity, profit and loss, balance sheet -- all tabular data)
