The game is going to work exactly as Mario works. Check this video to get an understanding of how that game is played:

The dragon you play as has two climbing sprites, four "walking" sprites, and 5 "jumping sprites" in which they need to flow flawlessly to look smooth and natural.
Those tan block you see are obstacles. To get over those, you walk your dragon (by pressing the keypad, which is not shown in these designs, there is a left, right, and jump button, very simple). You dragon goes over the obstacles, can jump to platforms and climb certain objects. There are three goals to the game. #1 free the "bugs". If you make it to where the bugs are at and jump on the platform, they go from the red "!" to the green check mark. You must clear all bugs to pass through to the next level. Goal #2 is to collect as many starts as you can. This is not mandatory, however collecting as many as you can is prestigious. Goal #3 is to get to the end with all the bugs freed without losing your 3 lives. If you fall in the water or hit a spike you die. When you die, you spawn back to the beginning and keep playing until you either lose all your life's or complete the level.
So far we have two levels designed. We would like to add more, however for the time we would like to get it going with these two.
We need it coded in COCOS2D-X so we can get it added to the regular Kingdom Island game as well as launching it as it's own individual time.
I can get all designs made, including splash screens, loading screens, level picking screens, and all sprites chopped up. I will just need instructions on how you would like them chopped so you can code easier.
