according to the description of the project, the work involved is pretty straight forward and what we as iOS developers go through quite frequently. Having worked on iOS development for nearly 3 years the project does not look far too complex. My projected plan is to first have a fully functional code build & test before making changes and that way I always have solid starting point to revert back when things dont go as planned.
