Around Me HTML 5 Mobile Applications

This is a blank canvas at this stage. I would prefer this as an HTML 5 web app rather than mobile clients, but ultimately it would be good if we could 'wrap' the page in an iOS, Android and Blackberry client.

As for the way in which it is built, this is entirely up to you. I had envisaged a simple, custom CMS working with MySQL, but I am open to suggestions. I do not have designs ready yet. If we can build a simple design initially, I will worry about aesthetics once the app works correctly.

My requirements and workflow, in a bit more detail are as follows;

Backend

1 - Data Addition Page. Accessible only from an Admin account. Not necessarily mobile optimised. To enter the following info

- Place Name.

- Place Postcode. If we can automatically assign this a LAT / LONG pair, that would be great.

- LAT/LONG Pair

- Address.

- Phone Number

- Category. Tick box on various categories + add new category.

- Sub Category. Tick box on various categories + add new category.

- Opening Hours.

- Add hyperlink 1, with title

- Add hyperlink 2, with title

The ability to import this data from a spreadsheet would be very useful.

Frontend

1 - Login Screen. Sign up (and simple account management loop) / Login / Facebook Connect. Log in is not required, but I plan to include some features which will require membership in a later version.

2 - Home Screen. Category List. Launches to show Category list. Defaults to locations within 2 miles, but can be changed manually. Only populated with options which have items that are open at that time. Eg. Travel / Medical / Entertainment.

3 - Sub Category Screen. Sub category list. Again, only populated with items which are open. Eg Travel sub category would open up to Trains / Buses / Taxis.

4 - Location List Screen. List of all locations which are open, and meet category and subcategory requirements. Eg Travel > Trains would show me Victoria / London Bridge

5 - Location Screen. To display Location Name. Opening Hours. Phone Number. Address. Hyperlink 1 (display only title as clickable icon / link), Hyperlink 2 (display only title as clickable icon / link), Directions (which launches Google Maps), Share (Facebook and Twitter)
