convert AS2 to AS3 so .apk will no longer loop endlessly

I have an .APK.
When installed onto an android tablet, it loads but does an infinite loop (so you cannot click on anything - as if the timeline is running constant over and over).
I was told its due to the fact my source was written in AS2. And needs to be AS3 to stop the looping.
I need someone to confirm if this is the problem. If so, we would like to have someone do the conversion. I have the APK file. I have the FLA file. And also have the SWF file. Thanks.
