Android developer needed for a quiz game

Same goes for adding me on LinkedIn or sending me e-mails.** Looking for a skilled Android Developer to work alongside a small team on a project basis, with the possibility of becoming a core team member should you be the right person. First project is an app game for Android. More exactly, it is a 1v1 Quiz/Trivia app with a football theme where players are matched against each other and can play in real time. The Android app constitutes just a way to communicate with the server. The entire logic is on the server and this doesn't concern the developer we are looking for in any way. The app will just call on some services offered by the server (i.e. get leaderboard, start game, send answers to questions). Communication with the server is done via WebSocket and the messages will use the JSON format. This entire server communication process is documented and we will help you where you need. Therefore, your main responsibility will be to make the app look like in the provided design, integrating the same provided animations and sounds. Can't stress enough that: 1. Yes, we will provide the designs; 2. Yes, we will provide the documentation. Skills wanted: Essential: - Java - Java API for WebSockets - OOP - Design Patterns - Must have the know-how of implementing the animated interface and custom sounds Preferred: - Good time-management skills; - Ability to work without direct supervision and to report to the team leader when needed.
