Android application that recognizes a recorded sound.

3 main criteria : App must be :- Energy efficient Accurate Within scope. Scope of Icarus : 1. User opens app. 2. User records sound - 3 x verification. 3. When app verifies and maps 3 sounds (same sound; eg: single clap x3), user is given option to save the “Audio Fingerprint” and enable app. 4. When the phone is locked the app listens through the microphone for a signature which matches the “Audio Fingerprint” recorded by the user. 5. When an “Audio Fingerprint” is recognized the app unlocks the screen and a verification message box pops up : Option A. Correct; Option B Incorrect. 6a. If “A” (Correct) is clicked, the app gets the new mapped “Audio Fingerprint” and adds it to a “Master Audio Fingerprint” image or, adds it to a “Correct Audio Fingerprint” array. 6b. Else if “B” (Incorrect) is clicked, the app gets the new mapped sound and either removes ( Modifies the “Master Audio Fingerprint”) it the from the “Master Audio Fingerprint” or it could have another array for “Incorrect Master Audio Fingerprint” for the times the app recognized a false signal. 7 App reverts to normal operation. 8 Once phone is locked again the app waits for an “Audio Fingerprint” signal again. Other Points: - When the user has recorded a sound this means that the app is initialized. Once initialized the app runs continuously in the background (like whatsapp, you cannot exit application, only uninstall it if you don’t want it on your phone). - Access to source code and detailed documentation in English are both required. - Concept of Audio mapping from Shazam. - A Log File of each time the program hears an “Audio Fingerprint” including date and time. Look of Icarus : This central image shows what the app should look like. I like the implementation of Dynamic Grid System ( Slider Navigation) presented on the picture. Buttons of the same color. Background does not really matter at this stage. Kindly advise if a single image is needed for the background and of what specs. i.e DPI and size. Instead of Titanium Radio, the circle will be kept, Icarus word image below center of circle and wings coming from behind the circle slightly wrapping. 3 Buttons as follows : Statistics, Options and Create New Audio Fingerprint. 1 Button which will be enabled whenever there is no recording saved by the user. This button will be located in the center of the circle where the logo is. As yet there will only be 3 buttons under the icon. Button 1 : Statistics : Shows; ... correct validation counter, ... incorrect validation counter, ... total counter. Shows last time app was triggered. Button 2 : Options : 1 - Disable/Enable Icarus, 2 - Backup/Restore or Import/Export “Master Audio Fingerprint”or Array of “Audio Fingerprints” ( export to sd card and share export to email/dropbox/google drives). 3 - Option to where “Master Audio Fingerprint” image/file/folder will be saved. i.e. Device or SD card. 4 - Preview Audio Fingerprint: Option to play first recorded audio signature and last recorded signature. As a testing measure. 5 - Delete Audio Fingerprint: Deletes the folder for that signature. Must include a message box warning to verify if the user wants to delete. Button 3 : Create New AF (Audio Fingerprint) : - Set name for new Audio Fingerprint - Use destination to save as in Options( selection 3 ). Save in new folder named as per AF name. - Go through first boot choices (Same as Scope of Icarus listing) Button 4 : Record button where logo is : This button is only enabled when there is no recording in the app. i.e. Either on first run or after user deletes current recording. Once there is a verified recording in the app the button becomes disabled.
