I've got a small static IP address block (a /29). I have asked our provider to reverse delegate that to my DNS servers so that I can correctly resolve the PTR records (we run a email server and a couple of web servers), they said I must first configure our DNS servers so that it passes the ZoneCheck tests successfully. They are using the Classless Reverse Delegation ??"RFC 2317 (Section 5.2) and are very bind centric. My DNS servers run DJBDNS and currently have (internally) a working implementation for /24 networks. But this Classless reverse delegation is different, and I can't get it to working properly. I need the DJBDNS record setup that will satisify our providers' Classless Reverse Delegation so that domain names will be returned when one of my new IP addresses is queried. Ideally (and optionally) coupled with the same thing in bind9 format, so as to learn both ways to implement this. Contact me for exact IP addresses if you need them, but here is what it looks like. xxx.xxx.xxx.128/29 xxx.xxx.xxx.132 mx xxx.xxx.xxx.131 web1 xxx.xxx.xxx.132 web2 /* both dns servers are not on that network. */ [login to view URL] ns1 [login to view URL] ns2
