Initial setup of asterisk based pbx for microbusiness, and assistance setting up associated softphones to use the pbx.
We are a micro-business, and currently we have a main phone number with a legacy phone service provider that call forwards to a Skype number, that rings on our desks. We have additional skype accounts, with skype in/out. We are looking to improve on our phone service, and save money by switching to an Asterisk based pbx configured to work with our existing skype account, and google voice. Once we are familiar with that setup, we plan to move our main number to a VOIP provider (add a trunk for it to Asterisk), and then finally to start to sell a similar solution to our customers. We are a small IT company, but just don't have the time to do this in-house, and need help getting going with this. We will provide remote access to a fresh install of either "pbx in a flash", or "the incredible pbx", or some other option that is easily installed.
What we want designed and set up (if this makes sense to those who know Asterisk).
A small number (3-5) of extensions with voice-mail.
A skype connection
A Google voice connection
A simple IVR ( 1,or 2 levels of menus)
An unattended IVR for hours when we are closed.
Assistance using the PBX - we will want instruction on basic usage when using X-lite (or other free) soft-phones on PC's and Linux.
Once we have successfully used it for a month, we will transfer our main number to a VOIP provider, and will need that trunk added to the PBX.
If this solution works well for us, then we will look to sell this same solution to our customers, we are hoping that we can continue to work together contracting you to assist in the setup of our customers. At that point we would require you to commit to non-compete, and non-disclosure agreements. During this project, and during any continued relationship, we expect to be able to communicate with you via the phone during normal working hours in the US Eastern Time.
I expect the initial project would be fixed price, ongoing work, could be hourly.
