We have a GP (doctor) subscription medical newsletter and website service in Australia. The newsletter is designed for patients to read whilst in the waiting room, while the website is obviously accessed outside the practice.
We print a physical 4 page colour newsletter which is distributed to our subscribers (doctors/ GPs) every 3 months as well as an email version of the newsletter. We also produce a templated website for GPs/ doctors in Australia which is a site for their business (typically 4-5 pages) which can be partly customised as well as obviously populated with their info to display to their patients.
We need online referrals to build
a) traffic to the site [login to view URL]
b) we need sales at [login to view URL] (ordering for both the newsletter and website are on the site)
Again, our target audience is GPs/ Doctors/ Medical Centers and even allied health providers in Australia. Our info tells us there are approx 7000 GPs and over 3000 Medical Centers in Australia, our current subscriber base is only 300 so there is plenty of room to grow however the audience is somewhat conservative/ traditional so we need to get creative in finding and appealing to them online.
I am happy to discuss ideas beyond this.
So far , we have tried Google Adwords (more cost than $ raised) , FaceBook ad (dubious) , we have a current LinkedIn ad (a few impressions but no clicks) on trial and we have also advertised directly in the main GP publication in Aus, Australian Doctor.
