Hi. I've actually written a couple of Connect4 applications in the past, with Alpha-Beta and transposition table based AI. It looks like your project is for a slightly different game, "Simacogo", but a lot of the code will be the same-- only the static evaluation function needs to change. As per your Powerpoint, I can create a simple GUI or text based UI (your preference) with a menu to set the AI's search ply. Code will be well designed, efficient, and thoroughly documented. I have been writing Java applications for three years. They range from Monte Carlo simulations to Android apps.

My estimate includes a simple GUI interface (though if you just want text that is fine as well - I imagine you want to try and keep from being too fancy or it may be obvious you had someone else do it), if you are a graduate student, or even if you are not, this would also include alpha/beta pruning. Again, you can cut that out if you wish. On the topic of Code Aesthetics - some things can be rather specific from one person to the next in the way they prefer white space, brackets, and so on for minor details. If there seems to be very precise requirements on that front, please let me know so I can take that into account.
