Change Ultimaker lasercut drawings

Hello, For a school project, I want to make a laser engraving device that is used to burn in surfaces (like wooden tables). To do so, I came across the Ultimaker, which is an open-source 3D printing machine that has released all the developed drawings. I think that this is a good basis for making a good laser engraver. The Ultimaker 1 and Ultimaker 2 differ in that Ultimaker 2 uses objects that are 3d printed (and provided). What I would need to be done in creating the laser device: 1. Change laser drawings to 50x50cm en remove all unnecessary parts 2. Select parts from Ultimaker 2 to be 3D printed 3. Reduce Bill Of Materials (BOM) taking into account that the axis in the new design are bigger. If you have any questions, please open the attached project details or feel free to contact me.
