I propose create a logo design for you for $25 and 1 hour of work. I would start by getting a sense of any ideas you have. Then I would sketch out a mock up. After agreeing on the mock up I'll start rendering it in vector probably in Illustrator so it can be resized as needed. The final steps would be adding fine details and touches and color correction. I have been working with with clients on their design needs for over 15 years. Some samples are available to view in my Freelancer portfolio. I've been working in photoshop & illustrator professionally for just as long. and I even just created my own logo in illustrator. I've done layout design & artwork creation for album covers, as well as graphic design for university libraries, rock and roll bands, real estate agencies and more.
