Create simplified floor plans from detailed engineering drawings. Use Visio, powerpoint, or other drawing software. Your product will be used for evacuation maps so they should be easy to read.
There is a 3 floor building and a 1 floor building. Your final product will consist of 4 drawings, 1 for each floor.
The engineering drawings sometimes use 2 drawings’s for 1 floor using a match line. Do not use match lines in your floor plans.
Your product should be drawn to scale.
Do not draw measurements, engineering notes, callouts, title blocks, legends, wall outlets, light switches, symbols, leaders, or key plans.
Your product should show walls, dividers, doors, windows, stairs, room numbers, room descriptions, ladders, hatches, north arrows, etc.
