We are looking for a fashion designer who can design a sports collection. We seek long-term cooperation, and not short-term. For the proper Person it will be possible to obtain shares in the company. We have great ambitions. And we seek must also have it. Assignment • Designing a Compression Wear collection. You / Company has: • Experience with graphic design. • Fashion • Experience with clothing design • Knowledge of texstil fabric. Not important but benefit. • You have experience with textile products. • But you must have NETWORK or contact a company can produce garments. Hi there, My name is Jessica, I am a sportswear designer from the UK. To tell you about my background briefly, I designed at Adidas for 6 months in the swimwear department and a further 3 years in the swim/beach/outerwear department at Puma (mens and womens). I have recently gone freelance-in Auckland, therefore enabling me to take on projects such as yours! In terms of your project, it looks very exciting. I feel compression wear is becoming more and more popular but hasn't reached everyone yet. How big is your collection and how many designs you would like created? Also what exactly you need from my side- you mentions graphics, so would you need prints (how many). In terms of knowing a manufacturer, I worked a lot in swimwear so I know this factory and I worked with Jackets so I know woven factories. However, I have not worked with compression fabrics so I could not tell you a good one here. I would need to go to fabric fairs to do research and really find the best fabrics and factories for this kind of range. I can imagine you need some really intense testings made on the fabric you will use so I think you need to really find a factory that can do all this and has done it before. I have been working on active wear for close to 8 years now for some of the leading companies in the industry. While I was at Columbia Sportswear I had the privilege of working on a team that developed their first sports bra. On that project I worked closely with fit engineers & developers to create the perfect fit. Some of the people I worked with in this R&D team had worked at Nike on developing activewear, so I was able to learn from the best. For the last ten months I have been woking on solely on women's yoga inspired active wear. This experience was so valuable because I was the Designer, Fit Engineer, Developer and Production. Manager. Research and inspiration collection, development of collection with tech. sheet and graphic skills,a lso we've experience in sport collection. So we can follow all the step of work : moldboard, color card, technical sheets with all the details for the supplier. We know many suppliers in China and Turkey. WE CAN DEVELOPING ALL THE COLLECTION AND DRAWING IT BUT WE DON'T WANT SHEARE THE COMPANY. We need to know how many pieces have the collection. I have very personal idea about the T-shirts sports and fitness apparel design, I love the simple shapes, fonts regular and unusual color combinations. Anything that is too sophisticated and overwhelmed is not my preference. From 2010 I began to work with sportswear brand with excellent results that have given me so much satisfaction. I love my job as a designer, it makes me happy and when I come home I feel relaxed, creative and hungry for new ideas. I am professional in making designs for sublimated sports apparels and making patterns i also have knowledge of stitching. My phenomenon about working as designer is professional and i know all the things includes in a product that which thing is actually look like the ready product like stitching margin , placing the logos and color combination etc.
