The Agent Line
This web site is used by “managers” to keep their “guests” informed of changes to their policies and procedures.
Four levels of password access to the site.
“Manager” has access to all pages.
“Administrators” have access to most but not all pages.
“Guests” have access to fewer pages and features
“Public” have limited access. (No password required.)
Three levels of emails.
Basic email
Advanced email
Personalized email
When Guests sign up, the Manager reviews each one and specifies if they will receive the Basic email, the Advanced email or both. In addition the manager can write an optional personalized email for each guest. These emails are stored until the owner or administrators trigger the emails.
Invitational email.
This is an email the Manager uses to invite and or welcome new guests to the service.
Notices
This is an email the Manager uses periodically to update Guests.
Managers can imbed their own company Facebook.
Manager Goals
The Manager can create a list of goals. Each goal has two check boxes. One makes the goal visible to the guests and the second gives The Agent Line (that’s us) the option to make it anonymously visible to the public. If neither is checked then only the Manager has access to the goal. The Goals also have two date fields: the start date and completion date.
Website
- The public need to be able to search the site for Managers by name, city, state/province or username.
- Guests have the option to sign up or remove themselves
The Agent Line
- The Agent Line will need to periodically send out emails to the Managers. This can be handled outside of the website but manager email addresses need to be regularly updated from the website.
- The website code needs to be clean and well documented so we can make ongoing (mostly text) changes on our own or with another developer.
- The Agent Line needs a blog, facebook, twitter account etc in support of the web site.
Revenue
To finance the site we’ll need some combination of Google Adsense, affiliate marketing or signup fees.
