We need someone to build a taxi booking site with a difference, the site will work on a job bidding system where drivers can view basic details of the job and place a bid to do the job. The site needs to run automatically where the winning bidder is sent full details of the job posted by a customer.
We've outlined the specifics we need below - the full back of house and front of house needs designed and built; and attached a VERY BASIC outline of what we need to give you an idea of how the site would look to a customer / driver.
The budget we have is around £250 - 350 - this isn't urgent and could be worked on in spare time, you would have 3/4 months to complete if necessary.
Site Requirements
Customers
Customers view site and can post jobs to a board with the following fields without Logging in.
Let Drivers Bid / Need Taxi ASAP
PickUp Time and Date,
Name,
Pick Up Address,
Via's (If applicable)
Destination,
Contact Tel. Number.
Other requirements field:
W/Chair accessible, low saloon car, has Pet, Excess Luggage, Number of Passengers (if over 4) etc.
Drivers
Drivers can sign-up (free) to place bids on the jobs with the following information – this needs to be vetted by a webmaster before any bids are placed:
Name, Address, Mobile Number, Vehicle Registration and Details, Plate Number, Badge Number.
Once signed up drivers must pay £5.00 by Paypal per week to bid on as many jobs as they like – This must be automated.
Drivers (and site users) can initially view basic job information on the site.
Time and Date (Limited to within hour, today, tomorrow etc)

At the end of the “Auction” (a predetermined time before the booking ie 10 minutes) the lowest bidder preferably will then have access to full details of the job on the site. Alternatively they could be emailed (not ideal as the information needs to be passed as soon as possible.)
The job will be marked as “sold/dispatched” the final price is visible. Once the booking time has passed the job should disappear from the job board. It would be ideal if the basic information for recently sold jobs could be displayed on the main site along with the prices
There has to be a back of house admin system to control access for the drivers where they can be given full access without paying, have their account disabled etc. It must keep a record of all jobs and who the lowest bidder was.
The site must be responsive and usable from Android and Apple mobiles/tablets etc.
Apps will be created at a later date that link customers to the site.
The site will work a little like http://www.uship.com ... obviously a little less complex as customers don't need to log-in only drivers.. but everyone should be able to view the jobs and current prices.
The site won't need as much content either.
