Create a language school logo

I need a logo that will be used for my language academy as well as for the online courses that will be run over Skype. The main language taught by the language school will be English (in the future German/Spanish will be offered) and the school will be very business like and courses will be offered both via Skype on a private (1:1) basis as well as "In house" training. I would like a logo that is professional but fun, something recognisable and something that can be used for flyers, the website and also on business letters. The company name is IE Academy. I like the idea of this [login to view URL] where people get the idea that the business is to do with education, but also that it is global (as the Skype lessons can be used all over the world). If this could be created with the colours of the "Union Jack" on the hat, that would be great! I would like other creative ideas as well as a few samples. The date to be finished is the 15th of May 2013 and payment will be made on satisfactory completion.
