In the first place I will need some dimensions: the diameter of the tube(leg), the support diameter (how much the legs could extend), the height, and the weight which should be supported. If you want to used also for electrical/electronic equipment, there should be a system which to prevent the cords/cables from damaging due the friction with the inner edge of the components. The three legs used to support the rotating stand, could be designed as detachable ones, or to be able to fold (with a kind of hinge and a retainer). It is also possible to make the stand telescopic, so will allow different heights (after all, not all users are same as tall or short).
