Determine GoPro HD 'Hero Bus' pinouts

Hi The goal of this project is to determine the 'pinouts' and source a plug for the GoPro HD Hero Bus. The basic deliverables will be 1) to source a plug that fits into the bus. 2) determine how to perform the following actions through the bus (ie close a circuit or send serial command on which pins). I am only interested in still photography. a) power on b) power off c) Shutter release d) Determine if photo was taken e) Power in (to power/charge the camera) Not a requirement but it would be nice to have other control such as menu and changing options, but not a requirement. To put this into context I am wanting to build a remote control system for a GoPro HD camera. This project is just the first part of the overall project. you will not be required to build the remote, just determine how to interact with the bus on the camera. GoPro and Hero Bus are trademarks. ## Deliverables 1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
