This is project is do only one page, page #36, about 20 searches. A successful completion will be approved to bid on doing 35 more pages.
I want to get a spreadsheet filled out with following columns. Make a google docs sheet and share it with me.
Name email Company webpage type source info location state
The task is outlined as follows.
1. judge whether the company is
typeA any one of marina, yacht club, or harbor. (most entries are these, a place where people keep boats or work on boats)
typeB some other company selling something to the marinas (selling docks, fuel pumps, supplies, etc)
some are obvious by the name (have 'club', 'marina', 'harbor'), if not obvious then google and see which they are.
fill out the spreadsheet only for 'typeA' businesses.
2. google the name of the company. usually it's the first result, but not always. go to the website, and look for a contact name and email. usually on a contact or info page. I want the owner or manager or harbormaster. Not all have a contact name, some only have a general contact email.
Name - first name of the owner / manager / harbormaster. if can find or figure out, blank if can't find it
email - best contact email, owner / manager / harbormaster if can find or figure out,
Company - name of company (paste from the association website, remove extra text like 'Inc', LLC, Corporation, just the main part of the company name)
webpage - webpage address where you found the contact name & email. This page will usually have the phone numbers and address of the marina
type - type of company: marina, harbor, or club If you come across some other category, list it.
source - webpage link where you started from ([login to view URL])
info - blank, or any note or question you have about this row.
location - town or city where it's located
state - state where it's located, abbreviated, from the address on the website. example: MI, IL, FL, VA

Technical staff in the first place: Is it a marina? Yes, it is a typical marina, offering berthing services to yacht/ boat owners. Purpose: recreation. Is it a club? Yes, it's a club whose members typically berth and little or no berthing services to non-members are offered. Purpose: specific (sailing, fishing etc.). Is it a store? Yes, it's about chandlery things or maybe construction-related services etc. We don't care about the 'Chandlery' etc category.
What is a harbor master? The guy in charge of the marina (navigation, berthing, enquiries etc.)
Where to find FIRST NAME of harbor master, LOCATION-STATE of marina and CONTACT E-MAIL? Usually, this information is listed on the 'Contact Us' tab of marinas' websites.
Can we get 100% accurate information on the desired fields? Yes
Can we have a 48-hour turnaround on 36 pages of search? Yes
There will be communicable English and technical knowledge of the yachting industry? Yes
How much will it cost? 39 USD (negotiable) for all 36 pages of search
