Convert large PDF document into Adobe InDesign document

I am an experienced mathematical book designer with more than 20 years' experience in school/academic field, one of my clients is Pearson South Africa. Can you please tell me in which version of Indesign you would like this document? Why do you want to use MathType for the maths? Especially if you want to edit it? Can I make a suggestion? Would it not be more viable to use the InMath plugin from movemen.com. I have used many maths plugins in the past, but Inmath is the best solution, especially if you want to edit documents afterwards. If you want samples of my work, please let me know, I can maybe send one or two page of live indesign with set with inmath for you to test. Please let me know. kind regards

I understand MathType in Indesign. I used previous powermath in QuarkXpress and produce similar equation related job. Placed high side of bid amount after reviewing the amount of work needed such as building math equations, creating illustration etc. Ignore our bid if the price is too high for this job. Recently I have translated and type-set an advanced chemistry book in InDesign with a considerable amount of formulas in MathType. All existing graphic work will be 'cut & paste' into jpgs. I work with InDesign everyday! I would prefer to have the file to work from. I'll also need to know which version of InDesign you work with to make sure it's saved out correctly.

I have a 131 page document currently laid out in Adobe InDesign primarily consisting of various embedded jpg files from scanned documents. I need the booklet converted to a document with all the text entered in Adobe InDesign text blocks and any illustrations drawn in Illustrator. I need to edit many of these sections of text and drawings so i can keep changing things for my students. There is a combination of math problems that will need to be entered using MathType so you will need experience using that as well. I will need to be able to routinely edit this so do NOT use lots of little text boxes to handle subscripts and superscripts in the math problems and try to draw parentheses around them. Since all of the text is in scanned jpg it will have to be typed in. Generally the headers and footers stay the same and the page ordering is the same. Do not try and do this in some other program and tell me it is "like" InDesign or it imports into InDesign. I will be checking it by opening it directly in InDesign and editing it in InDesign. If some illustrations are too complex to redraw in Illustrator or InDesign they can be scanned in as placed as jpgs - but only the image - not the text around it.
