Note: The coder that does a good job on this project will get the opportunity to work for my company on a daily bases with much larger projects.
If steady long term work is something you are interested in, then heres your first project...
LINK DATA PROJECT
the coder will collect a list of links from given keywords and collect data about the websites and place in spreadsheet.
LINK DATA PROJECT
I will give coder 3-5 keywords
coder will enter keywords into google
coder will take top 10 websites and enter the url into the tool below (very easy)
[url removed, login to view]
select these two tabs with the tool:
#1 first select the tab that says "inlinks"
#2 then select (from the dropdown menue)
Show Inlinks: except from this domain
now, heres what I need.
Visit each website in the list this yahoo tool gives you and collect the following information from each website.
#1. Coder (wining bidder) will click each link and collect email address from each site.
In many cases this will mean taking the time to FIND the email. It may be on the bottom of the site in the "contact us" section. Or it may be a simple web form or a "webmaster" link.
Either case I need the email.
if there is a contact page with a form to email them you can simply provide me with he link to the contact page as well.
#2. Coder will copy and paste the EXACT link that was given to them (the link from the yahoo tool) in the spread sheet with the email.
Important: This does NOT mean just give me the homepage link to the site (example [url removed, login to view]) I want the first link you clicked on (from the yahoo tool).
Here are a few links I DONT want. If you come across these skip them.
search sites (junk sites)
#3 The coder will locate ONE article from the website and put in the spread sheet what the article is about (the title of the article will be fine).
#4 The coder will put the "authors name" of the article in the spread sheet. IF there is no name then the coder can leave this part blank.
IF coder cannot find an article on the website then SKIP this link and go to the next one because this site is no good to me ( I dont want it in the spread sheet).
#5 the coder will write a brief description (10 words or less) explaining what the website is about.
I need 100 links done like this for this project.
I will most likely select more than one bid. The coder that does a great job will be giving much larger projects just like this one every day.
If you are not looking for steady long term work from me then this project isnt for you.
I'm looking for a team member for my company, who can perform this task (and tasks like it) every day.
Please keep this in mind,
**PS** I have attached an example of what the spread sheet should look like once the coder has completed the project.
When you look at the example ignre the parts
"article on the website"
"how it helps people"
(I dont need this information)
