My Master's thesis on Federal Grants Administration received an A++; I am also a graduate of the College for Financial Planning and an experienced writer on business and financial matters. I've authored both non-fiction and fiction and have won awards and recognition for my verbal talents, including national and internal essay and short story contests. Experienced in writing grants, awarding them, and performing under them, I was involved with grant applications for two Florida HRS District VI departments - Child Protective Services and Developmental Services -before leaving public employment to become a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and the managing partner of a privately owned financial services firm, responsible for regulatory matters and Federal filings. I was Chairman of the United Way of Tampa (Florida) Grant Allocation Committee for 4 years, serving 5 years in all.
