We need a bridging software running on WINDOWS to receive and send commands and data between game software running TCP/IP SOCKETS and a SERIAL DEVICE attached to the Windows PC. Buffering may be required in order not to loose packets and initialisation in order to recognise and connect with SERIAL DEVICE and the HTML5 Game SOFTWARE. Preference will be for the Bridging Software to be started by the Game Software but for them to be two separate processes running on the WINDOWS OS. Bridging software will have its own Text Editable setup file for its own startup settings. This will include but not limited to IN and OUT BUFFER SIZE and SOCKET.

Hello! From what I understand, WebSockets (as opposed to plain TCP/IP) proxy will be suitable for you. WebSockets is supported in modern browsers, and there is a Flash implementation of WebSockets for those ones which don't. I can write an asynchronous application (using libuv) or a multithreaded one. I can mostly work only on weekends, that's why such term. However, it has been often the case I was able to be done earlier than planned.

Bridging software is always my field of interest, i have developed various systems for sensor integration and TCP/IP based Sensor integration units. Using my previous experience i assure you that your required bridging software will be written with quality and high performance gaming. I will use hi-tech open source libraries for this implementation like pytqt, qt and pydoop. If you award this project to me i assure you i ll leave no stone un-turned for the clean DRY implementation of this project.
