I am working on a project which requires gathering the data received via bluetooth low energy module on a system running on Ubuntu 14.04. Basically, I have the sample code of the an existing BLE application written on Qt and require some help to modify the same. Existing code allows me to connect to a device, scan and select the required service and finally select the required characteristic. Notification for that characteristic is also enabled via the code, hence, regular updates to change in the value of the characteristic is provided. However, I would like to get changes done in the UI part of the code, I intend to present the user with only a single screen for visualising the data and would like to cover the rest of the process in back-end. C++ or C program to perform the same is also acceptable as long as I can get the separate UI part done in Qt.
