The attached cabinet picture1 shows the similar cabinet/enclosure to be designed.
This cabinet is for a display application. It shall be designed considering mobile installation (vehicle).
Material is Aluminium
Cabinet Size is 1900mm Length * 780mm Height * 60mm Width
This cabinet consists of many submodules arranged in array of 4 rows 11 columns.
11 submodules in each row-------(Length)
4 submodules in each column----(Height)
submodule size is {160mm length * 160mm height (square) * 16mm width}
*This submodule diagram is attached as submodule dimension.
The frame for fixing submodules shall be like the attached picture named frame1.
This frame shall be detachable. Such that once the submodules are arranged and fixed on the frame, the frame can be mounted inside the cabinet.
The mounting holes on this frame for fixing the submodules and the frame structure shall be like in the attached picture named frame2
The actual display area will be 1760mm * 640mm.
1900mm-1760mm = 140mm shall be used for cabinet edge.
780mm-640mm = 140mm shall be used for cabinet edge.
The cabinet shall be waterproof.
The cabinet shall contain DC fans for cooling (DC fans are mintature type)
The cabinet front side is the display which shall be framed with acrylic sheet.
Front Acrylic sheet 4mm thickness.
Gap/space between Acrylic sheet surface and submodule surface = 2mm only.
the acrylic sheet shall be mounted/fixed with a gasket from inside the cabinet such that the gasket is not visible outside the cabinet.
The cabinet back side is the door which shall be fixed with a pair of gas spring.
The cabinet door shall be fixed with gasket at the edges for waterproof.
This cabinet internally consists of some power supply units and some printed circuit boards, provisions for mounting these shall be provided.
Dimensions of power supply units and printed circuit boards will be given later.

A mechanical-Mechatronics engineer and Certified SolidWorks Design expert, with more than a year of professional experience as SolidWorks designer and instructor, and 4 years in using SolidWorks including Finite Element Analysis, have used several CAD packages like Autodesk’s AutoCAD and Inventor, and PTC Creo.
