hi, i need to ask few things, 1st one, what is the main purpose to convert code into async ? (bcoz there may be some other problem into code as well, its very tiny). Do you getting any problem with this code and than decided to do in async ? After this question's answer i may give you one perfect solution. According to me, I know protocol coding really well and coded my own HTTP library and had also worked over different protocol like FTP, SMTP, RTSP etc. and has deep knowledge of Network related coding. Hi. I am experienced developer and can solve this problem. Do you want to use this library as you use it today but with async calls inside this ? Or you needed only these two async methods (get and post) ? By the way, if you intend to use .net framework 4.5 it will be rather easy change to async calls.
